A. Subject to the restrictions in section 14-5408, subsection A, paragraph 4, the court may confer on a conservator at the time of appointment or later, in addition to the powers conferred on him by sections 14-5424 and 14-5425, any power which the court itself could exercise under section 14-5408, subsection A, paragraphs 2 and 3.
The court may, at the time of appointment or later, limit the powers of a conservator otherwise conferred by sections 14-5424 and 14-5425, or previously conferred by the court, and may at any time relieve him of any limitation. If the court limits any power conferred on the conservator by section 14-5424 or 14-5425, the limitation shall be endorsed upon his letters of appointment.
B. Upon appointment of a conservator for a protected spouse, the court may determine whether the spouse's share of community property shall be managed by the conservator or by the other spouse. If the court determines that the community property shall be managed by the other spouse, and if the protected spouse is the husband, the wife may become the manager of the community property during the conservatorship and may dispose of community personal property in the interests of the community.
